naan Kadavul.....
After watching the entire movie, i was not disappointed that i missed 20 mins at the start....
I was not that much convinced with this movie which released amid a lot of hype...
In the entire movie, Arya's dialogue wud never exceed even half a page..not a rich face expressions like Pithamagan vikram...nothing ..just sitting sleeping smoking....... i dont know what he did with him for a whole lot of 3 yrs........ saw nearly 5 songs during audio release but able to witness only 2 of that... dont know what Bala did with remaining songs.
the entire movie is all about the beggars. BGM was brilliant. Director's thoughts must be given a credit as he thought the story line in a totally a different fashion. hats off to him for taking such a huge risk where the other directors jsut roams arnd love & family senti....
Actor pooja really deserves a national award for her performance. uber acting.
SLUM DOG Millionare
watched it last wk....Super BGM, Audio tracks, sound,Editing and brilliant screen play.
when there are so many good things and achievements with us..y did they choose to portray the other face of India which we wud like to forget moving forward.
Showing the slums extensively... a small boy acting like a guide and mis informing the tourists at agra... an Indian doesnt know who is Gandhiji but knows the former president of US...Why did they choose to add the word "DOG", i dont know y?... I guess dis movie wud project a more of bad side of us to the globe than the good side.
Anyways the best thing ...ARR being an Oscar nominee...way to go man...

The World's most powerful man
I'm able to see a lot of similarities between Modi and Obama..Both are gr8 leaders, visionaries and good orators.only thing being Modi has proved, Obama yet to do so.....
American presidents cud contest the elections only twice in their life time. Do u think it is a real democracy??
the persons of age 90 yrs who is not even able to stand or walk on his own getting elected as head of the states or country in India shows the real democracy but it leads us to nowhere. Obviously more amendments are needed to our constitutional laws to save our mother country:: The only person who was little sad amongst 2.5 million, Mr.Bush outgoing pres. Might be becos he had to leave to White house which he enjoyed for 8 long yrs:( ..I guess more hatredness was developed in the world against Mr.BUSH on reasons like Iraq war, recession etc. The whole world supported Bush when he declared war against Iraq. y no country raised any objection except Iraq?
Now the entire world points finger towards him. I dont think this is right.
how cud anyone say that only Bush's policies led us to this deep down recession?? he enacted the laws only with a good hope to increase the no of US citizens owning their homes. But the greedy banks, financial institutions used it to unacceptable levels and pulled everyone down for no mistake of others... Whether Bush asked any banks to give NINJA loans (No Income, No Jobs & No Assests) ?????
I sincerely belive even today, Bush is a gr8 leader and deserves a lot more respect as he departs than what he recived yesterday...everyone showed thier face to him..very bad:(

A visit to Chennai Book Fair
Last week, I went to Book fair which happened at the heart of city chennai... fully napped the earlier part of the day.. Had a gr8 idea to spend the evening so just went there...Dropped at each stall without fail. Glanced through the stall completely. Very nice to see that the no. of tamil books selling stalls outnumbered the englishessss..there may be arnd 1000 stalls. But if u count the stalls which sell unique books the count may reduce to 400 nos only....All the stalls havings the repetitive books which made me very boring at one point of time...
The best stall which attracted a large crowd is "Krishna sweets" selling dosas and pani pooris.....ofcourse i had one super dosa..coffee...and fruit salad :)
Not even 1 book i hav bought....God is very bad :(

CRR hike & its effects
It is the min amount of cash & deposits that all the banks must park with RBI. This is being done inorder to safeguard the investors incase of any issues with Bansk's lending amounts.
So generally as the banks get more deposits, the CRR amount with RBI tends to increase. But this yr when compared to last yr, the Banks are attracting only less deposits havin this as a situation, the RBI is planning to hike the CRR from its current level of 7.5 %.. This will have a very big impact on the Banks' profits as thier lending amounts have been squeezed.
How CRR hike will control Inflation???
Now we are very much aware that CRR hike will obviously suck out the excess liquidy from the system... ( 0.5 % hike in CRR will suck out 13,500 crores from the system)
As the liquidty has been squeezed, it will excise more pressure on the demand side so obviously the demand for the products will tend to come down, so is the inflation But we are failing to understand one point in this entire issue that the Inflation this time has been caused due to Supply constraints and not due to Demand pressure so my personal opinion is that any monetary action will hardly have any impact on controlling today's inflation unless we improve the supply situations.
